Joyce Sardo: I teach this class called Senior Research Seminar, previously known as WISE, a class devoted to individual experiential learning. Each student chooses a topic to explore and in the process of this learning experience, writes in his/her journal every day about what he/she is learning. This daily commitment has been a source of angst for many students in the past but is integral to the process. So, I thought it would be a valuable learning experience for me to have to make a similar commitment with journaling so I can put myself in their shoes. Hence, this blog, my journal of my own research experience.
